DevSecOps Enginer
Work Location: Herndon, VA
The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for Infrastructure as Code (IaS) for new and existing development environments. Deployment of tools, infrastructure security, monitoring, and installation/configuration of custom developed applications. The DevSecOps Engineer plays a key role in establishing secure workflows and patterns for application lifecycle management. This role is focused on solution development for a Classified Linux Dev Sec Ops Engineer with a focus on Amazon Web Service AWS Kubernetes Cluster environment.
- TS/SCI with adjudicated CI Poly required prior to start
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent Certification or ability to obtain one.
- Proficiency with git and version control systems (Github, GitLab) in a team setting.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and container security.
- Experience designing infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
- Experience with Linux administration and hardening.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps processes and software supply chain security.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and SDLC promotion strategies.
- Knowledge of AWS secrets management platforms.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies. (VMWare/Nutanix/Libvirtd/Hyper-V)
