Travel Time Paid to/from Penistone Works to Client Sites.
Clayton Project Engineering is a Mechanical & Electrical contractor working within the water utility sector undertaking contracts ranging from £10k to £750k.
This role would be based from our Penistone works, undertaking installation & Maintenance on sites operated by Yorkshire Water.
This role would be reporting to the Operations Manager.
This role is ideal for a qualified plumber / pipe fitter who would like to broaden there experience into chemical dosing, and pumping stations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- The installation of Mechanical and Electrical equipment which has been supplied designed as per the client specifications.
- Installation of PVC pipework and ancillaries (single / dual contained / flexible pipes)
- On Site & Off Site manufacture & Installation of Chemical dosing System, including manufacture of dosing rigs in house.
- Installation of Ductile Iron pipework and ancillaries.
- To comply with the companies & clients policies & procedures to maintain our Safety, Health, Quality & Environment Standards.
- Working on Potable Water & Waste Water sites.
- Working as part of a multi skilled team/s.
- Undertaking on site commissioning / testing
- Daily reporting of complete work to the Site / Operation Manager.
- Daily organisation of tasks on site in line with construction program.
- Positive attitude to completing the work efficiently & on time.
Qualifications and Skills
- Full Manual Transmission, Cat B , Car / Van Driving Licence
- QCF Level 3 Mechanical Construction Related Discipline, (NVQ3 higher) or
- CSCS Gold Card in a construction related mechanical discipline or
- JIB PMS Gold Card in Plumber / Pipe Fitter
Holidays : 32 days including stats at employee Average Hours
Work Location & Geographic Location.
All Employees are based from our works in Penistone, South Yorkshire, and all candidates should consider there location & travel time which is outside there working day.
Existing Employees are based in Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield , Huddersfield & Wakefield with a normal commute time of upto 45 minutes.
