Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other analytical tools to uncover trends and patterns.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations with Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand their needs, translating requirements into technical specifications for data solutions.
  • Design and maintain databases using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and database design principles to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Manage projects through the entire SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), ensuring timely delivery of analytical solutions.
  • Create detailed documentation including Visio diagrams for system processes and workflows.
  • Support business analysis efforts by identifying opportunities for process improvements based on data insights.
  • Automate routine tasks using VBA, Bash (Unix shell), or other scripting languages to increase efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in data analysis with strong proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and VBA.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau and Power BI for creating compelling visualizations.
  • Knowledge of database management systems such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server; understanding of database design principles is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies for managing analytics projects from inception to deployment.
  • Strong business analysis skills to interpret data within organizational contexts effectively.
  • Experience with project management practices to coordinate multiple initiatives seamlessly.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with analysis tools like Visio for process mapping is advantageous.

Pay: £25,420.00-£63,071.14 per year
