About the Role
This Accounting Manager role sits within the Finance team of a growing direct-to-consumer healthtech and telemedicine company. You'll own the integrity and scalability of core financial operations — spanning eCommerce, inventory, and healthcare — and play a key part in building the controls and processes needed to support continued growth.
What You'll Do

Lead the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.

Oversee revenue recognition, inventory, intercompany, payroll, AP/AR, and fixed assets accounting.

Review and manage preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages.

Perform balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analyses to surface actionable business insights.

Manage treasury activities including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity optimization.

Partner with Supply Chain to strengthen inventory controls, reporting, and forecasting.

Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and documentation.

Identify and implement process improvements and automation to support operational scale.

Manage, mentor, and develop staff accountants to build a high-performance team.

Support external audits and readiness for public reporting requirements.

Collaborate cross-functionally to drive accountability, transparency, and operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA preferred.

5+ years of accounting experience, including a public accounting background, with 2–3 years in a management role.

Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles.

Proficiency with ERP systems and strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting.

Experience in eCommerce, healthcare, telemedicine, or inventory-based businesses is highly preferred.

Proven ability to lead complex accounting operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights.

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $90,000 – $110,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

This is a hybrid role based in Fremont, California, United States.
