About the Role
This is a high-ownership internship embedded within a small, fast-moving operations team at an early-stage AI startup building purpose-built agents for the sea and air freight industry. You will work directly alongside the founders, switching fluidly between big-picture strategy and detailed execution, and will be a genuine driver of how the company grows.
What You'll Do
-
Build and manage internal systems, including the company website and operational tooling.
-
Lead recruiting efforts and support the onboarding of new team members.
-
Support go-to-market initiatives and help bring AI agent products to customers.
-
Identify and secure grant and non-dilutive funding opportunities.
-
Tackle a wide range of challenges across operations, strategy, and execution as the company's needs evolve.
What We're Looking For
-
Prior experience in generalist or operations roles within early-stage startups or other high-agency environments, with real ownership over outcomes.
-
A technical background or strong intuition for AI and software systems.
-
Experience building or managing internal tools, websites, or operational workflows.
-
Familiarity with recruiting processes, candidate sourcing, or talent acquisition.
-
Some exposure to go-to-market work, customer acquisition, or sales enablement.
-
Experience researching or securing grants, non-dilutive funding, or similar opportunities is a strong plus.
-
Curiosity about AI agents, logistics technology, or how freight operations work is a bonus.
-
Full fluency in both German and English, written and verbal.
-
A bias toward action, strong work ethic, high integrity, and comfort operating with ambiguity.
-
Local work authorization in Germany required; visa sponsorship is not available.
