About the Role This is a founding GTM position at a seed/Series A AI SaaS company operating in the government contracting and GovTech space. You'll work directly with the founding team to build a go-to-market engine from the ground up — wiring LLM-driven workflows, enrichment pipelines, and agentic automation into a scalable growth system. This role is purpose-built for an AI-native marketer who ships systems , not just manages campaigns. You'll translate complex technical AI capabilities into compelling narratives, own the full funnel, and run high-velocity experiments that drive measurable growth. The platform serves federal contractors, Fortune 500 primes, and government agencies across the federal and SLED markets. Note: Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder. No visa sponsorship is available for this role. What You'll Do Architect and operate an AI-powered GTM engine, including enrichment pipelines, LLM-driven personalization, and agentic outbound workflows. Integrate and operate tools such as Clay, n8n, Zapier, Make, Apollo, Instantly/Smartlead, Lindy, Gumloop, and custom GPT/LLM APIs. Run high-velocity growth experiments on messaging, channels, and ICPs — shipping daily, iterating weekly. Translate technical AI and product details into customer-facing assets: decks, demos, one-pagers, case studies, and landing pages. Design and execute end-to-end campaigns across email sequences, paid/social, webinars, conferences, and ABM targeting federal primes, contractors, and government agencies. Own funnel metrics (CAC, LTV, conversion rates), build dashboards, and continuously refine strategy based on data. Partner cross-functionally with product, sales, and deployment teams to align GTM motion with ICPs and delivery realities. What We're Looking For Required: 3–8 years in marketing, growth, or GTM — ideally at early-stage or high-growth startups. Proven track record building marketing systems from scratch: automation, attribution, integrations, and iterative learnings. AI-native workflow builder: hands-on experience using LLMs for enrichment, personalization, classification, and content generation, with shipped automations across platforms. Comfortable working with APIs and automation builders, even without writing production code. Experience marketing AI/ML, developer tools, or SaaS products. Familiarity with GovTech, compliance, or federal contracting ecosystems. Strong communicator who can distill technical product detail into crisp, customer-facing narratives. Ability to own numbers end-to-end: define CAC, LTV, and funnel metrics; build dashboards; drive data-informed decisions. U.S. citizen or Green Card holder (legal requirement for government-adjacent work). Nice to Have: Background in growth marketing, product marketing, or demand generation. Prior experience in GovTech, defense, or federal contracting markets. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $140,000 – $190,000 per year, depending on experience. Founding-team equity opportunity at an early-stage, venture-backed company. High-ownership, high-impact role with direct access to company leadership. Location This is a hybrid role based in New York, NY . Candidates should expect to be on-site part of the week. The company is headquartered in the Washington D.C. area with a New York presence.
