About the Role A well-funded, early-stage B2B SaaS company building an AI-native intelligence platform for strategic procurement is looking for a Founding Product Engineer . The world's largest industrial companies spend billions on sourcing, yet their teams still operate on fragmented data, manual analysis, and gut feel. This company is replacing that with AI agents that turn procurement into a cognitive function. You'll be one of the earliest engineers on the team, working in a fast-moving environment where your output directly shapes the product and the customer experience. Enterprise customers are already asking for features faster than the team can ship them — you'll change that. What You'll Do Build end-to-end features across the full stack: frontend UI, backend services, and LLM integrations. Design and implement sophisticated AI agent pipelines, then make that complexity invisible to end users. Prototype quickly, iterate on real customer feedback, and ship production-grade features at pace. Sit close to real users — translate their behavior and feedback into experiences that genuinely land. Own features from UX through backend logic to prompt design, with full accountability for outcomes. Help define how AI agents and procurement professionals interact at scale. Treat AI-assisted development as a natural part of your workflow, with clear judgment on when it helps. What We're Looking For Required: Strong proficiency in full-stack TypeScript (frontend and backend). Sharp intuition for working with LLMs — prompting, tuning, and integrating them into real products. Evidence via work history, side projects, or hackathons is a plus. Strong product taste and creative instincts for what makes a great user experience. High agency and outcome-driven mindset — you find a way, you don't wait for permission. Comfort navigating ambiguity: fast prototyping, sharp instincts, and relentless iteration. Genuine excitement about working in-person with the team in Berlin. Nice to Have: Experience with agentic or multi-step LLM pipeline architectures. Background in enterprise SaaS, procurement tech, or data-intensive B2B products. 1–10 years of experience; all levels considered — what matters is mindset and track record. Compensation & Benefits Salary: €90,000 – €140,000 per year, depending on experience. Equity participation as a founding team member. Direct impact on product direction and company trajectory from day one. Location Berlin, Germany — hybrid, in-person collaboration with the team is expected. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
