About the Role
Join an early-stage team building an AI-powered platform for industrial energy management. As the founding sales hire, you will lead sales from prospecting through close and help shape the sales approach as the business grows.
What You'll Do

Win new industrial customers across the DACH region, from upper-mid-market businesses to large enterprises.

Own the full sales cycle, including outbound, discovery, product demonstrations, business cases, pilot scoping, procurement, security reviews, contracts, and post-sale expansion.

Navigate complex buying groups across energy procurement, plant operations, finance, IT, and executive teams.

Build pipeline through targeted outreach in German and English, using email, professional networks, phone, events, and partner channels.

Grow customer relationships by expanding use cases, adding sites, and developing references.

Share feedback on pricing, product, and target customer segments with the founders and product team.
What We're Looking For

At least 3 years of B2B sales experience, including 2 or more years owning the full sales cycle.

Experience closing enterprise or upper-mid-market deals with multiple stakeholders and six-figure annual contract values.

A track record of building outbound pipeline and selling complex technical products through long sales cycles.

Experience selling at an early-stage startup without established sales playbooks.

Strong German and English communication skills for customer outreach and sales conversations.
Compensation & Benefits
Estimated base salary is €64,200 to €85,800 annually, based on the stated 60/40 base-to-variable split. OTE (on-target earnings, base plus variable) is €107,000 to €143,000 annually, with the range varying by level. Equity is included. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Hybrid role based in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany.
