About the Role
This is a full-stack product engineering role on a lean, high-impact team building agentic AI systems for real-world property operations. You will own features end-to-end, modernize legacy systems, and turn messy operational workflows into reliable, autonomous software. The work directly shapes how short-term and holiday rental properties are managed across Europe.
What You'll Do
-
Design and build agentic AI workflows covering guest communication (chat and voice), operational decisions, and property tasks.
-
Own features from scoping through shipping and iteration, not just ticket execution.
-
Modernize legacy systems and redesign data structures to meet upcoming product requirements.
-
Shadow real operational workflows to surface inefficiencies, workarounds, and hidden steps.
-
Translate complex processes into clean, production-ready software.
-
Collaborate closely with internal teams to keep product and engineering tightly aligned.
-
Operate with high agency and ownership to deliver results rapidly and safely.
What We're Looking For
-
Hands-on experience building agentic AI systems or agents in production.
-
Strong full-stack JavaScript and TypeScript skills, including React and Express.
-
Solid microservice architecture experience and proficiency with the AWS stack.
-
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Linear, and Notion.
-
Experience using agentic engineering tools such as Claude Code or Codex, including running multiple agents in parallel.
-
Sound technical judgment around resilient backend integrations, secure data handling, and fallback strategies for critical operations.
-
Strong product thinking with genuine attention to user experience, down to interaction wording and messaging.
-
Ability to self-manage: plan work, communicate progress, and flag blockers proactively.
-
Fluent English and strong communication skills sufficient to independently own product features and coordinate cross-functionally.
-
Demonstrable builder or entrepreneurial signals, such as personal projects, an active GitHub, hackathon participation, or prior founding experience.
-
Willingness to relocate to Germany and work from the Leipzig or Berlin office as required.
