About the Role
Join a small, fast-moving team at a seed-stage AI productivity software startup. You will tackle two core challenges: building scalable backend systems and improving the LLM and AI agent workflows that power the product.
What You'll Do

Design, build, and maintain backend systems and services that can scale reliably.

Optimize LLM integrations and AI agent orchestration to improve reliability and efficiency.

Ship software hands-on and take ownership of meaningful technical challenges across the product.
What We're Looking For

Typically 8 to 10 or more years of relevant engineering experience, with a substantial track record of coding and shipping software.

Strong backend engineering experience, including building scalable systems.

Hands-on experience improving LLM integrations and AI agent workflows in production.

A portfolio of side projects that demonstrates technical depth and sustained curiosity.

Experience in a fast-growing startup environment is preferred, along with a high degree of ownership and motivation to work in an early-stage team.
Compensation & Benefits
Base compensation is $80,000 to $120,000 USD annually, plus equity. Compensation and the salary-to-equity mix may be negotiable for exceptionally senior candidates. Visa sponsorship is not available, and candidates must be legally eligible to work in Sweden.
Location
This is an on-site role in Stockholm, Sweden. Relocation may be necessary for candidates currently based elsewhere.
