About the Role
This is an early-stage software engineering role at a seed-stage supply chain connectivity startup, where you will help build the foundational platform from the ground up. You will own core systems end-to-end, making architectural decisions that shape the product and engineering culture for years to come. The work spans both cutting-edge AI agent development and complex infrastructure, making it a uniquely broad and high-impact position.
What You'll Do
-
Design and build purpose-specific AI coding agents from scratch for supply chain connectivity use cases.
-
Develop and maintain core infrastructure for hosting and running integrations, similar in spirit to a self-hosted deployment platform.
-
Own systems end-to-end, from the agent platform to the integrations runtime, with full architectural authority.
-
Establish engineering patterns and practices that will define the team and product going forward.
-
Work across both the agentic and heavy infrastructure layers of the product simultaneously.
What We're Looking For
-
2 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience; this is a hands-on individual contributor role and is not suited to staff, principal, or engineering management titles.
-
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern full-stack product development.
-
Hands-on experience building with AI agents and LLMs using current, production-grade patterns.
-
Demonstrated ability to ship and own complex software products end-to-end with minimal direction.
-
At least one tenure at a VC-backed startup (seed through Series B); a career spent exclusively at large tech companies, enterprise firms, or non-tech organizations is not a fit.
-
Background as a founder or early engineer who has built products from zero to one at a fast-growing startup is a strong plus.
-
Solid computer science or engineering fundamentals, ideally from a rigorous technical program.
-
High-agency side projects, particularly agentic tools or launched products, are a meaningful signal.
