About the Role
This is a hands-on sales leadership position at a fast-growing AI procurement platform for the industrial sector. You will own a customer segment in the DACH market, lead a team of around five Account Executives, and carry a personal quota, all while shaping go-to-market strategy in a largely untapped market. The role sits at the intersection of coaching, deal execution, and strategic growth, making it a rare opportunity to build something significant from the ground up.
What You'll Do
-
Lead and develop a team of approximately five Account Executives to capture a large greenfield opportunity across the DACH region.
-
Close deals personally against a quota while coaching the team to exceed collective targets.
-
Partner with founders and sales leadership to shape and execute go-to-market strategy for a new market.
-
Engage directly in critical customer conversations to guide deal strategy, support negotiations, and strengthen business case development.
-
Implement and coach structured sales methodologies, including MEDDIC, to improve discovery, negotiation, and pipeline management.
-
Drive team performance through metrics tracking, pipeline reviews, and action planning to increase win rates and deal velocity.
-
Deliver measurable value to procurement teams in industrial companies, helping them optimize costs, reduce supply chain risks, and meet regulatory requirements.
-
Identify and apply AI-driven workflows to accelerate team productivity and share best practices across the broader sales organisation.
What We're Looking For
-
3 or more years as an Account Executive in B2B SaaS with complex, non-transactional sales cycles.
-
At least 1 year in a formal sales leadership role, ideally within a high-growth SaaS environment.
-
Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding individual and team sales targets.
-
Experience coaching a sales team of around five, including hands-on deal support and structured performance management.
-
Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC and the ability to teach and reinforce them in practice.
-
Experience contributing to go-to-market strategy in a greenfield or early-stage market.
-
Background in manufacturing, procurement technology, or selling to industrial customers is a strong plus.
-
Fluent in both German and English.
-
Based in Munich and comfortable working on-site full time.
Location
On-site, full time in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
