About the Role
This is a commercially pivotal role at a seed-stage life-science ingredients company, sitting at the intersection of cutting-edge drug-delivery technology and B2B sales. You'll be the key bridge between the R&D team and buyers at leading supplement brands and contract manufacturers, turning warm leads into long-term partnerships during an exciting commercial growth phase.
What You'll Do
-
Own and drive the full B2B sales cycle — from first contact with ingredient buyers and contract manufacturers through to closed partnerships.
-
Act as a technical consultant to prospects, translating complex science around bioavailability, solubility, and drug-delivery technology into clear commercial value.
-
Build and develop key accounts across the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, and personal care sectors.
-
Collaborate closely with the lab and product teams to align customer needs with formulation capabilities and new ingredient launches.
-
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings, with regular travel expected.
-
Maintain structured pipelines and account records using CRM tooling.
What We're Looking For
-
Degree in a natural science or technical field — e.g. food technology, nutritional science, pharmacy, biotechnology, chemistry, or life-science-focused business studies.
-
2–4 years of B2B sales, key account management, or business development experience in the raw materials, supplements, or pharmaceutical industry.
-
Proven ability to sell technical or science-based products in a consultative manner.
-
Fluency in English; German is a strong asset given the primary market.
-
Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine drive to close and grow accounts.
-
Comfort working in a fast-moving startup or scale-up environment.
-
CRM experience is a plus.
-
Willingness to travel regularly for customer visits and industry events.
