About Us
Vengeance Is Mine (VIM 3235) is a new faith-rooted streetwear brand built on Romans 12:19 and Deuteronomy 32:35. We make heavyweight 100% cotton tees and hoodies that are cut, sewn and printed in the USA in small runs. We’re getting ready to launch, and we need a seasoned Production Manager to build and run our supply chain from fabric to finished goods.
The Role
You’ll own production end to end, from sourcing fabric and blanks through cut-and-sew, decoration, quality control and delivery to fulfillment. Working directly with the founder and Creative Director, you’ll turn designs into high-quality, on-time, on-budget product. You’ll also set up the processes we’ll scale on. This role suits someone who has run domestic apparel production for years and wants to build it right from day one.
What You’ll Do
- Build and manage relationships with US-based mills, cut-and-sew factories, screen printers and trim suppliers
- Run the full production calendar for small-batch drops: sampling, approvals, PO placement, production and delivery
- Develop and maintain tech packs, BOMs, size specs and grading in partnership with design
- Manage sampling and fit: proto, fit, pre-production and top-of-production samples
- Negotiate pricing, MOQs and lead times, and own COGS targets and costing sheets for every style
- Set QC standards and inspections for fabric weight, shrinkage, print durability, stitching and measurements
- Track WIP and solve delays, defects and capacity problems before they hit launch dates
- Coordinate inventory, receiving and handoff to fulfillment/3PL, and keep stock levels in sync with Shopify
- Plan production quantities for drop-model launches and restocks using sell-through data
- Document processes and build the vendor base the brand will scale on
What You Bring
- 8–10 years of apparel production experience, including at least 4 years managing production for a brand (streetwear, DTC or premium basics preferred)
- Deep knowledge of heavyweight knits: cotton jersey, fleece, French terry, GSM/oz weights, shrinkage and garment dyeing
- Hands-on experience with domestic (USA) cut-and-sew and decoration (screen print, DTG, embroidery, puff/specialty inks)
- Strong ability to write tech packs and read specs, with a keen eye for fit and construction
- A proven record of hitting launch dates and margin targets with small-run, low-MOQ production
- Skilled negotiator with an existing network of US factories and printers
- Highly organized, comfortable with spreadsheets and production tracking tools (Airtable, Google Sheets, PLM/ERP a plus)
- Comfortable in a scrappy, small-team, build-from-zero environment
Nice to Have
- Experience launching a brand or drop-model business from pre-launch
- Knowledge of Shopify inventory and 3PL integrations
- Familiarity with sustainable or traceable sourcing
- Experience with LA, NC or other US apparel manufacturing hubs
Why Join
- Ground-floor ownership of a brand’s entire supply chain
- Made-in-USA, quality-first product you’ll be proud to stand behind
- Direct access to the founder, with fast decisions and little bureaucracy
- [Benefits: e.g., flexible schedule, product allowance, equity/profit share, PTO]
