Opportunity Overview
As a Junior Power BI Developer, you’ll build on your first commercial experience in analytics and data visualization, working on real projects for international clients. You’ll be supported by experienced BI developers and data engineers, expanding your skills across semantic modeling, DAX, Databricks, and cloud-connected reporting in a modern Azure-first environment.

Your Responsibilities

Building and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards for global clients across diverse industries, with guidance from senior team members.

Applying DAX measures and data modeling concepts (star schema, relationships, cardinality) in real project contexts.

Working with Databricks as a data source for Power BI, including querying and preparing data for reporting.

Collaborating with Data Engineers and senior BI Developers to understand data structures and upstream pipelines.

Supporting business stakeholders in gathering requirements and translating them into clear visualizations.

Maintaining data quality and consistency across reports, with attention to lineage, documentation, and best practices.

Contributing to BI standards and reusable component libraries as you grow your technical scope.

Getting hands-on with CI/CD practices and version control for Power BI assets.

Continuously developing your skills and staying up to date with the Power BI, Databricks, and Azure ecosystem.
What We’re Looking For

At least 1 year of commercial experience with Power BI.

Working knowledge of DAX and willingness to develop it further.

Foundational knowledge of data modeling concepts: star schema, relationships, and basic SQL.

Basic knowledge of Databricks, such as working with notebooks, SQL warehouses, or connecting Databricks to Power BI.

Eagerness to learn how Power BI connects to cloud data sources such as Azure Synapse or SQL databases.

Proactive, curious mindset: you ask questions, take initiative, and are not afraid to try things.

Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in an international, remote-first environment.

English at B2 level or above, as it’s our daily working language.
Nice to Have
-
Exposure to the Azure data ecosystem (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, ADLS).

Familiarity with Power BI service: workspaces, row-level security, dataflows.

Basic knowledge of Python or SQL for data preparation.

Any experience with version control (Git) or CI/CD concepts.

Interest in data engineering concepts and Lakehouse architecture.
