In this role, you will report to our EMEA PR lead to craft compelling stories, secure high-impact coverage, and manage regional execution from concept to completion.You’ll collaborate directly with a cross-functional team of Cloudflare experts—spanning engineering, legal and policy, partner marketing, and executive leadership. If you live and breathe technology, love translating complex technical innovations into clear stories, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the place for you.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist the PR Director, EMEA in managing PR operations including editorial calendar, content, execution, reporting, and PR agency coordination</li> <li>Focus on EMEA partner PR, regional speaking opportunities and media awards.</li> <li>Contribute to promote press releases, blog posts, and other materials to support regional and local communications initiatives</li> <li>Collaborate with PR agencies</li> <li>Help manage day-to-day execution for EMEA PR programs</li> <li>Support to monitor and manage inbound media requests</li> <li>Organize media briefings, interviews, and PR-focused events</li> <li>Help to maintain strong media relationships across all types of media outlets, develop story ideas, and manage stories</li> <li>Support and help manage key executive spokespeople</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Drive Regional Execution: Manage day-to-day PR operations across EMEA, including content alignment, editorial calendars, media briefings, and campaign execution.</p> <p>Elevate Our Voice: Support regional speaking opportunities, industry awards, and partner PR initiatives to keep Cloudflare top-of-mind across EMEA markets.</p> <p>Partner with EMEA Agencies: Collaborate closely with our local agency partners to drive consistent strategy, streamline workflows, and measure results.</p> <p>Amplify Content: Package and pitch press releases, deep-technical blog posts, and research to regional and local media outlets.</p> <p>Manage Media Relations: Support inbound press inquiries, build authentic relationships with key tech and business journalists, and develop proactive story ideas.</p> <p>Support Spokespeople: Prepare and brief executives and technical experts for interviews, keynotes, and media events.</p> <p><strong>Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>BA/BS in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or Marketing preferred</li> <li>PR Experience: 3–5 years of B2B tech PR experience (in-house or agency) focused on the EMEA region.</li> <li>Technical Curiosity: An ability to get under the hood of complex technology and translate technical concepts into simple, compelling narratives.</li> <li>In-the-Trenches Mindset: A hands-on, highly accountable approach—we work fast, adapt constantly, and everyone pitches in to get big things done.</li> <li>Sharp Execution: Exceptional written and verbal communication, strong project management, and meticulous attention to detail.</li> <li>Detail Oriented: possesses a keen eye for detail, easily catching inconsistencies that others might overlook while maintaining high standards of quality.</li> <li>Modern Toolkit: Familiarity with leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows, research, and content creation.</li> <li>Language Fluency: Fluency in one or more European languages alongside English, ideally Spanish and/or Italian.</li> </ul> <h3 data-path-to-node="0"><strong data-path-to-node="0" data-index-in-node="0">Compensation</strong></h3> <p data-path-to-node="1">● For Portugal based hires: Estimated annual salary is between €41,000- €56,000.</p> <ul data-path-to-node="2"> <li> <p data-path-to-node="2,0,0">The final offer will be inclusive of time exemption, in alignment with the applicable law and collective bargaining agreements.</p> </li> </ul> <h3 data-path-to-node="3"><strong data-path-to-node="3" data-index-in-node="0">Equity</strong></h3> <p data-path-to-node="4">This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>What Makes Cloudflare Special?</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We’re not just a highly ambitious, large-scale technology company.
