Job Description

Coding Club is hiring on behalf of one of our clients for a **Senior Data Analyst**. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Bangalore for professionals passionate about transforming data into actionable business insights and driving data\-driven decision\-making.

As a **Senior Data Analyst**, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to support business strategies. You will collaborate with cross\-functional teams, build dashboards, automate reporting processes, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations that improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities. * Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools. * Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data. * Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines for reporting and analytics. * Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance. * Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Business teams to understand analytical requirements. * Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and visualizations. * Design and maintain KPIs and business performance metrics. * Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency. * Mentor junior analysts and contribute to analytics best practices.

Required Skills

* **4\+ years** of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst. * Strong proficiency in **SQL** with experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle. * Experience with **Power BI**, **Tableau**, or Looker. * Strong knowledge of **Microsoft Excel** (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Advanced Formulas). * Experience with **Python** (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib) or **R** for data analysis. * Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. * Experience working with large datasets. * Understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques. * Familiarity with cloud platforms such as **AWS**, **Azure**, or **Google Cloud Platform**. * Experience using Git for version control. * Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to communicate technical findings to non\-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with **BigQuery**, **Snowflake**, or **Amazon Redshift**. * Knowledge of **Apache Spark** or **Databricks**. * Experience with **Google Analytics (GA4\)** or Adobe Analytics. * Familiarity with predictive analytics and basic machine learning concepts. * Exposure to data governance and data quality frameworks. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Educational Qualification

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field. * Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
