Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Coffee Shop/Cafe Manager to lead our vibrant team and ensure an exceptional customer experience. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, maintain high standards of food safety and quality, and foster a welcoming environment for all guests. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily cafe operations, including food preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of baristas, kitchen staff, and front-of-house personnel to deliver excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold high standards of food production and hygiene practices
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and oversee the proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Train new staff on food safety procedures, customer service protocols, and operational tasks
- Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive team environment
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients and products
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or cafe setting with strong team management skills
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is highly desirable
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills
- Hands-on experience with food production, kitchen operations, and barista duties
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
