We are seeking a very specific candidate: someone who is passionate about our mission, relishes the pressure of solving the industry's hardest problems, and actively seeks feedback to operate as part of a championship team.</p> <p>The Capital Markets Accounting team sits at the core of our expanding retail and institutional businesses, providing the accounting foundation for our rapidly growing Futures Commission Merchant and Broker-Dealer. We are seeking an Accountant to drive finance and accounting processes, support new product launches, and ensure regulatory compliance, collaborating closely with leaders across product, engineering, operations, and legal teams.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own accounting close activities for the FCM and Broker-Dealer entities, including preparation of journal entries, financial statements, and quarterly/annual financial results.</li> <li>Execute timely submission of all required regulatory reporting to the CFTC, NFA, and other applicable agencies, meeting daily filing deadlines.</li> <li>Support internal and external audits for the registered FCM and Broker-Dealer entities</li> <li>Drive execution of internal controls over compliance, regulatory reporting, and accounting policies and procedures.</li> <li>Partner with product, engineering, operations, and legal teams to support accounting readiness for new product launches.</li> <li>Support daily monitoring of entity liquidity and capital requirements, escalating material issues to internal stakeholders promptly.</li> </ul> <div><strong>Required Skills and Experience:</strong></div> <ul> <li>3-5 years of public accounting and/or industry experience within brokerage, asset management, investment advisory, or other regulated financial services organizations.</li> <li>BA/BS in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.</li> <li>Working knowledge of FINRA/SEC broker-dealer rules, CFTC/NFA regulations for registered FCMs, and relevant accounting guidance (ASC 815, 17 CFR 1.20).</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent reporting deadlines, including experience supporting regulatory filings and audit cycles.</li> <li>Availability to work EST hours to meet daily regulatory filing deadlines.</li> <li>Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.</li> </ul> <p> </p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><strong>Pay Transparency Notice:</strong><strong><em> </em></strong>Base salary varies by location (see range below).
