About Us
Swift Fuel Services, Inc. is a general contracting construction company specializing in commercial construction projects throughout the Southeast. Our projects include gas stations, convenience stores, shopping plazas, strip malls, renovations, and ground-up commercial construction.
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our growing team.
We are open to both candidates seeking a traditional full-time position and experienced construction professionals who currently work full-time and are interested in taking on additional projects on a contract/consulting basis.
Responsibilities
* Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines
* Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, engineers, architects, inspectors, and clients
* Review construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and contracts
* Coordinate procurement and material deliveries
* Track project costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
* Conduct project meetings and provide progress updates
* Coordinate permitting and inspections
* Identify and resolve construction issues before they affect schedule or budget
* Ensure projects meet quality, safety, contractual, and code requirements
* Manage multiple active projects when required
Qualifications
* Commercial construction project management experience preferred
* Experience with ground-up construction and/or commercial renovations
* Experience with gas stations, retail, shopping centers, strip malls, or similar commercial projects is highly desirable
* Strong understanding of construction drawings, schedules, budgets, and subcontractor management
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to independently manage projects and deadlines
Work Options
Full-Time: Candidates interested in joining our team in a long-term Project Manager role.
Contract/Consultant: We also welcome experienced Project Managers who currently hold full-time positions and are interested in consulting or managing additional projects on the side. Remote work is available for portions of contract assignments depending on project requirements.
Some travel and site visits may be required for projects throughout the Southeast.
Compensation: Competitive and based on experience and employment/contract arrangement.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
