DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support First Article (FA), engineering trials, process validation, and qualification activities. Participate in project development stages including planning, execution, and testing.
- Prepare, set up, and execute engineering trials, sample builds, and process evaluations according to engineering requirements.
- Assist engineers in troubleshooting manufacturing, process, equipment, and quality‑related issues during FA and production.
- Collect, record, analyze, and report engineering data to support process investigation and improvement activities.
- Prepare and verify tooling, fixtures, gauges, equipment, and materials required for FA and engineering activities.
- Perform machine setup, parameter verification, and equipment adjustment for engineering trials and qualification runs.
- Support Failure Analysis (FA), root cause investigation, corrective action implementation, and verification activities.
- Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance quality, productivity, yield, safety, and cost efficiency.
- Support development, updating, and maintenance of engineering documents, work instructions, SOPs, process records, and qualification reports.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of engineering activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, engineering requirements, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Maintain engineering equipment, tooling, measuring instruments, and work areas in good operating condition.
- Perform other job functions as deemed necessary by management.
REQUIREMENT & COMPETENCIES:
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics, or equivalent.

- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, precision engineering, or related industries.
- Hands‑on experience in First Article (FA), engineering support, process trials, product qualification, or process validation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, process flow, and work instructions.
- Familiar with precision measuring equipment such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Surface Roughness Tester, CMM, or equivalent inspection tools.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, process control, and engineering documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work independently, support multiple engineering activities, and meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and basic quality tools will be an added advantage.
