We are currently looking for an Account Manager to join our tight\-knit team. Reporting to a Team Lead and the Director of Client Services, you will represent the ConnectAd brand and maintain a portfolio of clients to ensure customer success and satisfaction.

**About the Role**

As a Digital Marketing Account Manager, you’ll be the strategic partner and primary point of contact for our nonprofit clients. You’ll lead the charge in understanding their marketing goals, translating them into actionable digital strategies, and ensuring flawless execution across channels. This role requires both big\-picture thinking and hands\-on management — you’ll oversee campaigns and guide internal teams when needed to keep projects moving forward while maintaining strong client relationships.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Client Services (90%)**

Client Management

* Monitor account health and proactively address challenges * Maintain strong relationships with accounts: Send meaningful follow up emails, documenting key points of conversation, and providing next steps * Respond to client emails promptly and no later than 1 business day * Maintain monthly contact and run meetings with clients to ensure satisfaction and proactively address needs.

Project Management

* Lead projects from initiation through completion, ensuring deliverables are on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations. * Oversee delivery teams to achieve a high degree of excellence and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner * Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. * Coordinate cross\-functional teams and facilitate clear communication across stakeholders. * Anticipate risks and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on track. * Support a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Google Ad Grant and Multichannel Paid Campaign Management

* Develop campaign strategy and implementation based on client goals * Take landing page content and conceptualizing it in terms of keywords * Research keywords to find the most relevant ones with high search traffic * Optimize keyword lists into specific ad groupings * Write relevant ad copy for each group of keywords * Analyze historical keyword data to develop new iterations * Run A/B tests to analyze ad text performance in order to maximize effectiveness * Optimize campaigns utilizing advanced features available on each platform

Google Analytics \& Google Tag Manager Setup

* Set up installations of Google Analytics on client websites * Set up Google Tag Manager to facilitate the tracking of certain actions * Set up integrations between Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads * Create and/or modify conversion goals

Landing Page Builds

* Develop a landing page strategy consistent with the Google Ads campaign strategy * Create landing pages and relevant variations based on the overall strategy * Set up A/B tests to optimize the landing pages for performance

Strategic Advisory and Metrics Reporting

* Prepare tailored reports that facilitate conversation and knowledge sharing * Lead client reporting meetings, using the time to communicate data\-driven insights and strategic recommendations * Educate the client on digital marketing processes and opportunities * Make recommendations on how to increase the impact of the client's digital marketing outcomes through marketing with additional verticals

SEO

* Conduct keyword research to identify relevant terms and opportunities that align with campaign goals * Optimize website metadata and on\-page elements to improve search visibility and user engagement * Support technical SEO audits by identifying crawl issues, broken links, and other site health improvements * Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and other performance metrics, compiling insights into regular reports

Multichannel Marketing Strategy Support \& Implementation

* Support senior members of the Client Services team in the planning, execution, and analysis of multichannel digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, programmatic display and more * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to ensure campaigns launch on time and meet client objectives * Support senior team members with client tasks in other verticals such as organic social media and email marketing

Client Retention and Expansion

* Identify gaps, challenges, or future goals through conversations and service reviews * Recommend additional services, upgrades, or product features that align with the client’s needs and add measurable value * Guide clients on how other digital marketing solutions can improve efficiency, outcomes, or ROI (when appropriate) * Document upsell opportunities, conversion outcomes, and impact on client success * Understand the range of ConnectAd's services to build proposals, provide project estimates, and communicate how they can benefit the client

**Growth and Learning (10%)**

* Attend regular team trainings and demo days to stay current on digital marketing trends and best practices to adapt to evolving tools, platforms, and ad policy updates * Facilitate onboarding for new team members, providing training and fostering a culture of collaboration * Guide junior team members on new verticals and client management * Contribute to process improvements including updating Wiki articles with new digital marketing updates and learnings

**Qualifications**

* 1\-3 years of experience in performance marketing, including Paid Media, SEO, CRO, and funnel strategy * Experience with Excel/Google Sheets, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Ads Editor, and/or HTML/CSS * Ability to translate technical insights into actionable client recommendations * Advanced budget and project management skills, confidently overseeing complex, multi\-channel marketing budgets to ensure ROI and efficiency * High commitment to exceptional customer service and trust\-based relationship building * Excellent speaking and presentation skills * Great work ethic, intrinsic motivation, and the ability to work independently * Utilize strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills * Problem\-solver with ability to think quickly and act fast in a client environment * Great work ethic, intrinsic motivation, and the ability to work independently and within a team environment * Experience or desire to work with nonprofits

**Desirable**

* Experience working in an agency environment * Track record of upselling when it makes sense to drive growth for nonprofits * 1\+ year of project management experience or equivalent * Adept at learning quickly and enjoys tinkering with technology

**Compensation**

$50,000/year or commensurate with experience, plus company bonus.
