Construction and Project Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an organised and experienced Construction and Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of commercial and domestic construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves working closely with clients, contractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure the successful completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan, manage, and oversee commercial and domestic construction projects from start to completion. * Coordinate project schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure efficient project delivery. * Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, suppliers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. * Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building standards, and company policies. * Manage subcontractors and oversee the timely delivery of materials and equipment. * Identify and resolve project issues, delays, or risks to minimise disruption. * Prepare project progress reports and provide regular updates to management and clients. * Support cost control and assist in achieving project budgets and deadlines. * Promote effective communication and teamwork across all project activities.

Requirements

* Previous experience in construction, site management, or project management is preferred. * Good knowledge of commercial and domestic construction practices. * Strong organisational and leadership skills. * Excellent communication and problem\-solving abilities. * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. * Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software. * Understanding of health and safety requirements within the construction industry. * A qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is desirable but not essential. * Right to work in the UK.
