Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and successful Sales Manager with at least 5 years of sales experience in the kitchen cabinet industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of proven results in sales, growth, seeking new business opportunities and closing sales. The Candidate is expected to bring excellent relationship-building skills, accountability, team concepts and a results-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities and General Duties

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with interior designers, builders, developers, and retailers.
  • Lead and motivate a team of Sales Representatives through training, mentoring and accountability with a strong focus on timely completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations tailored to client needs when required
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals directly with clients and provide timely, accurate and competitive pricing to maximize profit margins
  • Ensure RFQ’s are reviewed and completed accurately, competitively and on time
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their kitchen design needs and preferences.
  • Create detailed kitchen layouts using design software, ensuring optimal space utilization.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase materials, finishes, and appliances.
  • Manage the entire design process from initial consultation to project completion.
  • Act as a liaison between operations (Manufacturing / Service) and the custom to ensure smooth start to finish satisfaction
  • Work with direct reports to team build, conduct reviews, mentor and discipline when necessary.
  • Maintain necessary staffing levels and review team competencies, hiring when necessary
  • Participate, review and assist in the development and distribution of marketing and promotional materials
  • Maintain and submit monthly activities, business reports, sales results and budgetary requirements

Performance Indicators:

  • Hitting targets based on new business opportunities, closing rate measured against agreed-to targets
  • Establish long range objectives and apply specific strategies and actions to achieve them (e.g. Sales goals, Closing ratios)
  • Performance measurement of Sales team and development of action items for continuous improvement
  • Ability to determine and react to changing trends and business dynamics while creating strategies to adjust and ensure continued growth and success

Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years experience in Sales Management specifically focused on Retail Kitchen Sales

· University degree or College Diploma in a related field

· Experience in hiring, training, mentoring and leading a small sales team with a focus on closing, accountability and teamwork

· Exceptional product knowledge related to the process of end-to-end kitchen design including experience in measurement.

· Exceptional skills, confidence and clarity in communications and public speaking

· Experience in budget development, cost expenditures, and control and financial reports

  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM software, AutoCAD, Microvellum,

· The ability to bring a current portfolio of clients is a definite asset.

· High comfort level in cold calling, data gathering and phone solicitation methods

· Experience and exposure to client interface along with outstanding customer service and customer satisfaction skillsets.

· Ability to analyze information, evaluate results and choose the best solution to solve challenges.

· Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and concisely utilizing strong interpersonal and listening skills

· Exceptional ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $110,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
