Crown Highways are a specialist contractor who offer a wide range of Civil Engineering, Lighting & Technology services on the UK's Motorways, trunk roads and local authority network. This role is to provide management for our growing Lighting, Electrical & Technology teams in the East Region and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Plan and programme works.
- Scheme management and resource planning.
- Compile Risk Assessments and Method Statements in line with the Crown Highways H&S Management System.
- Manage interface with traffic management contractors, other contractors and Client to ensure smooth delivery.
- Manage appointed sub-contractors.
- Manage high level scheme programme to ensure works are delivered to programme and within budget.
- Undertake site safety visits, inspections and deliver inductions and tool box talks.
- Ensure that ITPs are completed for each individual scheme inclusive of photographs and client signatures.
- Ensure site records are collated, saved in the project file and reviewed daily.
- Capture scheme quality and performance management system data.
- Support the Commercial Manager when pricing and invoicing works.

- Enthusiasm and passion to ensure that all Crown Highways work is delivered in a manner without compromise on safety, quality or customer service.
- Understanding of of the importance of meeting client and customer requirements.
- Ability to develop professional relationships to help generate further business for Crown Highways.
- Drive to succeed and improve and a willingness to learn essential.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience of managing teams or undertaking a supporting role to plan and deliver schemes, preferably in a highways Lighting & Technology environment.
- CSCS
- SMSTS
- Construction Management Qualification – NVQ6/HNC or equivalent desirable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
