Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our LogiFORCE (Business Analyst & Design) Team. The role focuses on optimizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Inventory Management Systems (IMS), and Container Freight Station (CFS) processes by translating business needs into efficient technical solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for process analysis, system implementation, and providing insights to enhance supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirement Gathering & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with warehouse, inventory, and CFS teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Conduct gap analysis to compare current processes with desired system functionalities for WMS, IMS, and CFS.
- Create detailed functional and technical specifications for system implementations.
2. Process Design & Optimization
- Map and document workflows for warehouse operations (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping and other processes).
- Optimize inventory processes, including stock replenishment, cycle counting, and inventory audits.
- Enhance CFS operations, including cargo handling, storage, container tracking, and documentation workflows.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose automation or process improvements to boost operational efficiency.
3. System Implementation & Testing
- Collaborate with technical teams to configure and implement WMS, IMS, and CFS systems.
- Ensure system features like real-time inventory tracking, warehouse space utilization, and container movement are aligned with business needs.
- Define and execute test scenarios, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to validate system functionality.
- Support seamless integration of WMS, IMS, and CFS with other enterprise platforms like ERP and TMS.
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring alignment and addressing queries.
4. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all workflows and system configurations comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, system configurations, and change logs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in WMS, IMS, or CFS systems.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and CFS management.
- Familiarity with integration methods (APIs, EDI) and enterprise platforms like ERP or TMS.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
