About the project
You will join a CSHARK team delivering a project for our client, a technology company building on-device AI audio and speech products. Their real-time speech models ship as an SDK that device makers (OEMs) and software partners integrate into phones, PCs and embedded hardware, running on CPU, NPU and DSP.
You will own the quality of the client’s embedded audio SDK on real hardware. Your focus is performance, resource usage and stability across devices, so that every release behaves predictably in the field. Audio experience is a must and at the core of the role.
Your responsibilities

Test the embedded SDK on real devices: latency, memory, CPU/NPU/DSP load, power consumption, thermal behaviour and long-run stability.

Audio or speech product testing.

Design and maintain regression suites that catch performance and stability changes between releases.

Build automated test tooling in Python and integrate it into CI.

Profile on-device behaviour with adb, Perfetto and similar tools, and turn findings into clear, reproducible bug reports.

Set up and run hardware-in-the-loop tests and device-farm executions.

Work closely with SDK developers to investigate issues down to C/C++ level.
What we expect

Several years of experience in QA / test engineering for embedded or mobile software.

Strong Python for test automation and tooling.

Hands-on experience with adb, Perfetto (or systrace) and on-device profiling.

Ability to read and debug C/C++ code.

Experience measuring latency, memory, CPU usage, power and thermal behaviour on real hardware.

Experience with CI pipelines and automated regression testing.

Fluent English.
Nice to have

Hardware-in-the-loop setups and device farms.

Experience with NPU/DSP workloads or ML inference on edge devices.
