We’re hiring a Water Systems Technician who will serve as a local water expert. You’ll test home water, explain results clearly, and recommend the right filtration, softening, or whole-home system using our standard, transparent pricing. This is not a high-pressure sales role—success comes from education, accurate recommendations, and helping homeowners achieve cleaner, better water.
What you’ll do:
- Conduct in-home water tests and interpret results
- Educate homeowners on hardness, contaminants, and system options
- Recommend appropriate pure-water solutions with published pricing (no negotiation)
- Coordinate or support installations and follow up as needed
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of water filtering systems (including both Culligan and non-Culligan), simple water chemistry, and general plumbing
- Attend approximately 50 community events per year (mostly weekends in the summer). Note: events are scheduled well in advanced, and with your approval
- Work with pre-scheduled, pre-vetted appointments provided by our sales coordinator; schedule any self-generated or event leads yourself
What we offer:
- Compensation, mixed between base and commission, where strong performers are expected to reach and exceed $100,000

- 10 weeks of paid training at a rate equivalent to $75,000 per year (continuation requires passing progress assessments at week 3, week 6, and week 10)

What we’re looking for:
- Master Plumber license, or willingness to enroll in and complete the program (we can sponsor)
- Strong ability to research independently and figure things out—smart, curious, and self-directed
- Excellent communication and teaching skills
- Technical aptitude (plumbing, mechanical, or prior water treatment experience a plus; training provided)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work independently in customers’ homes
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable representing the company as a trusted expert
- Ability to be trained, and receive copious amounts of constructive feedback
