About the Role
We are a global leader in air conditioning, seeking a sale focused, attention to detail and passionate Sales Manager – Applied to join our dynamic team at Daikin Australia to shape the future of our Applied Business.
This amazing opportunity is now available to be based in Warwick Farm, NSW with the responsibility manage & develop Applied sales team within the region to achieve sales results and company strategies. There will be an expectation requirement for travel into regional areas, Tasmania, NSW and potentially overseas factory, estimating up to 30% of the time.
The role will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Manage a team of Account Managers and Internal Technical Sales Support
- Monitor sales performances to meet budget requirements
- Actively participate in major dealings with Contractors and Consulting engineers
- Provide technical and sales support to the Account Managers on the range of Chilled Water products and software applications.
- Provide technical assistance to Applied account managers to ensure that the Chilled Water system specified is fit for the purpose – contractual liability.
- Follow up on any outstanding queries from Consultants and Contractors. Act as a point of escalation for the Applied Account Management Team
- Coach and mentor the Applied Account Management team to ensure continual success in increase of the win/loss tender ratio Monthly reports on all sales programs and objectives for the quarter

We are seeking a sale orientated team member that possesses the following attributes:

Minimum 5 years of HVAC industry experience with Chilled Water System

Minimum 2 years of people management experience, leading a sales team

Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering and/or Trade experience in Chillers
