You will work on backend and cloud solutions with a strong focus on Kotlin and AWS, contributing not only to application development but also to architecture, deployment and infrastructure.
We are looking for someone comfortable taking ownership, working independently and navigating an existing codebase while continuously improving its quality.

Design, develop and maintain backend services using Kotlin and Spring

Build and evolve cloud-native solutions on AWS.

Contribute to cloud architecture, deployment and Infrastructure as Code.

Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK and TypeScript.

Work with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, CodePipeline, CloudFront, S3, ACM, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, DynamoDB and Glue.

Maintain high engineering standards through clean code, design patterns and software development best practices.

Develop and maintain unit, integration and end-to-end tests.

Understand, maintain and refactor existing and legacy code.

Contribute to CI/CD, observability and reliable software delivery.

Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders in a mature enterprise product environment.

5+ years of professional backend/software engineering experience.

Strong commercial experience with Kotlin, ideally with Spring.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based architectures.

Practical knowledge of AWS CDK and TypeScript.

Experience designing and deploying cloud solutions.

Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code.

Strong knowledge of clean code principles, design patterns and software engineering best practices.

Experience with unit, integration and E2E testing.

Confidence working with and refactoring legacy code.

Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of technical solutions.

Experience working in mature product or enterprise engineering environments.
