Job Description
Orvexa Systems is looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in Pune. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing business data, preparing reports and dashboards, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Write SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
- Prepare and maintain reports and interactive dashboards.
- Analyze trends, patterns, and business performance metrics.
- Perform data validation and identify data quality issues.
- Work with internal teams to understand data and reporting requirements.
- Translate business requirements into analytical reports and dashboards.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and data processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of SQL.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or another BI tool.
- Understanding of data cleaning, visualization, and basic statistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Python, particularly Pandas.
- Familiarity with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Experience working with APIs or external data sources.
