Duties

Create compelling dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or other reporting tools to communicate insights effectively.
Conduct detailed analysis using Excel data analysis techniques, R, or Python to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the requirements analysis phase to define data needs and develop scalable solutions aligned with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Perform database design tasks ensuring efficient query management and optimal performance of SQL databases such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
Support business intelligence initiatives by developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations that facilitate strategic decision-making.

Skills

Strong technical proficiency in SQL programming, database design, and query management across SQL databases like Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.
Hands-on experience with data visualization and dashboard development using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar tools.
Knowledge of ETL processes and tools such as Talend or scripting languages like Bash (Unix shell) for data integration tasks.
Proficiency in programming languages including Python and R for statistical analysis and automation.
Familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) analysis to support project management and software development efforts.
Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
Understanding of linked data concepts and how they enhance data analytics capabilities across interconnected datasets.
Ability to perform Excel data analysis efficiently while utilizing VBA for automation where applicable.
