Job Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision & Operational Risk Control: Overseas on-site HVAC engineering works and participate in final project acceptance and commissioning reviews. Guide and train operational shift teams to standardize daily inspections, logging, operations, and maintenance of HVAC equipment, proactively mitigating operational risks.
- Emergency Response & Troubleshooting: Lead emergency response for HVAC system failures. Direct on-site troubleshooting and guide quick repairs across all HVAC equipment and components, including chillers, CRAHs/CRACs (precision air conditioners), and auxiliary systems.
- MOP/SOP Standards & Contract Management: Develop and refine HVAC maintenance plans, operating procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Monitor and enforce third-party vendor maintenance contracts to ensure standard, highly efficient system operation.
- Energy Efficiency & Automation Optimization: Regularly collect and report power and water consumption metrics. Analyze operational data and operating conditions to design and execute energy-saving initiatives, optimize PUE and WUE values, and continuously enhance Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Complete other HVAC operation, maintenance, and management tasks assigned by line managers.
- Job Requirements:
- Education & Certifications: Diploma/Associate Degree or above in HVAC, Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), or related engineering disciplines. Intermediate HVAC professional qualification/certificate is preferred.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on HVAC operation and maintenance experience in medium-to-large-scale Data Centers (2,000+ racks/cabinets). Proficient in the operation, maintenance, and servicing of various HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshooting & Energy Management: Demonstrated capability to independently diagnose HVAC system faults, lead team troubleshooting and emergency repairs, and conduct daily O&M tasks. Practical experience in HVAC energy conservation and optimization.
- Documentation Skills: Proficient in drafting technical documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Method of Procedure (MOP), and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP).
- Software & Tools: Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD; hands-on experience with Building Management Systems (BMS / BA / DCIM).
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English is preferred; fluency in Mandarin is a strong plus.
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
