ENVIRONMENT:
Our client is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide day-to-day technical support, maintain IT infrastructure and ensure the smooth operation of hardware, software and network systems. The successful candidate will assist with troubleshooting, system maintenance, Microsoft 365 administration and IT security while delivering professional and efficient user support.
DUTIES:
- Provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshoot hardware, software and network-related issues.
- Install, configure and maintain computers, printers, networks and other IT equipment.
- Provide support for Microsoft 365, Office 365, OneDrive and Active Directory.
- Assist with network maintenance, system upgrades and IT security.
- Manage and resolve service requests efficiently.
- Deliver professional technical support and customer service to users.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant IT support experience.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, an IT diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, PC hardware and networking.
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Proficiency in English and/or Afrikaans.
