Job Description – QA Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly responsible and technically capable QA Engineer who takes complete ownership of the quality of work assigned to them. The candidate must be committed to completing tasks correctly, thoroughly, and within agreed timelines.
This role requires someone who does not simply identify bugs, but actively works with developers and stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved and the final product is stable and ready for delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Take complete ownership of assigned QA tasks from start to final closure.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, API and system testing.
- Identify, document, track and verify bugs until complete resolution.
- Ensure releases are thoroughly tested before delivery to clients or stakeholders.
- Prepare and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios and QA checklists.
- Test APIs, backend services and application workflows.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve technical issues.
- Verify fixes and ensure that resolved bugs do not create new problems.
- Maintain clear documentation of testing activities, defects and results.
- Proactively identify potential quality or performance issues instead of waiting for them to appear in production.
- Take responsibility for completing work accurately and within committed deadlines.
- Communicate immediately if there is any risk of delay rather than waiting until the deadline.
- Be willing to extend working hours occasionally when an important release, client delivery or critical issue requires completion.
- Maintain a strong sense of accountability for the quality of the final product.
Technical Skills Required
The candidate must have working knowledge of:
- Python
- Docker
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- API Testing
- REST APIs
- Postman or similar API testing tools
- Manual Testing
- Regression Testing
- Integration Testing
- Bug Tracking and Defect Management
- Git / Version Control
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL
Knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, PyTest or other automation testing frameworks will be a strong advantage.

- Can stay beyond normal working hours occasionally when a critical deadline or release genuinely requires it.

This is a work-from-office and ownership-driven role. Candidates looking primarily for remote/hybrid work or who are uncomfortable taking responsibility for deadlines and quality may not be suitable for this position.

Pay: ₹342,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
