Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps / Automation Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in test automation, CI/CD implementation, and cloud-native technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Cypress, JavaScript, Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes. The role involves designing automated testing frameworks, managing CI/CD pipelines, containerizing applications, and improving software delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined software delivery.
- Automate build, deployment, and operational processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Manage and maintain cloud and on-premise infrastructure environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using automation and configuration management tools.
- Deploy, configure, and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes platforms.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance to ensure high availability and stability.
- Configure logging, alerting, and observability solutions for proactive system monitoring.
- Ensure platform security, compliance, and access control across infrastructure environments.
- Troubleshoot production, infrastructure, and deployment-related issues effectively.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement incident resolution measures.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and overall infrastructure availability.
- Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Product teams for seamless delivery operations.
- Create, maintain, and update technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
- Drive DevOps best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across engineering teams.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong knowledge of Version Control Systems including Git, GitLab, and GitHub.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Exposure to container orchestration tools including Kubernetes and Helm.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as OpenStack.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation and scripting using Shell/Bash scripting.
- Good understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, and Firewall management.
- Experience in configuring and managing web servers such as NGINX and Apache.
- Exposure to system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster management processes.
- Strong Linux System Administration and server management skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Cypress automation framework and CI/CD integration.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and security scanning tools.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Exposure to OpenStack environments.
- Cloud or Kubernetes certifications.
