Staff Engineer

Job Summary Key Responsibilities • 12+ years systems/storage performance engineering at staff/principal level. • Deep Linux storage I/O path and kernel module profiling/tuning. • Distributed storage benchmarking at scale (fio, file-system tools). • NVMe/NVMe-oF, block-device internals, erasure coding / RAID data paths. • RDMA (RoCEv2/InfiniBand), TCP offload, NUMA-aware tuning. • C, Python, and Linux perf tooling (perf, ftrace, eBPF, flamegraphs). • Add build gating and smoke-test stages so broken builds never reach QE. Preferred Skills: • Lustre performance (LNet, OSTs/MDTs, obdfilter-survey, client fio). • Software-defined NVMe-oF / distributed block storage internals. • Cloud bare-metal (OCI/GCP), dense NVMe platforms. • OFED/MOFED/DOCA driver evaluation, ConnectX-class NIC tuning.
