You will advise the directors on how to solve operational and commercial problems, create value, grow the business and improve performance across our lettings, management, sourcing and renovation services. You will use data and business analysis to give objective, evidence-based recommendations and to help the team build any new skills or processes we need.
Key responsibilities:
* Analyse pricing, occupancy, rental yield, void periods and market data across our managed and sourced properties, and report on what the data shows.
* Review how our lettings, property management, sourcing and renovation processes work, find inefficiencies and risks, and recommend practical improvements.
* Prepare business cases and financial appraisals for new markets, service lines and property investment opportunities, and present options to the directors.
* Identify and assess operational, financial and compliance risks, and recommend controls.
* Set up and track key performance indicators for each service, and produce regular management reports.
* Benchmark our services and fees against competitors and market trends.
* Work with the team to implement agreed changes and support them in developing the skills and processes needed to deliver them.
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree or above in management, business or a related subject. A master’s degree in management is desirable.
Strong analytical skills and good competence with Excel or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.
Clear written and spoken communication, and the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior colleagues.
Interest in the UK residential property sector, including lettings, property management or investment.
Good organisation and the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Desirable:
Experience in property, real estate, consultancy or a similar commercial analysis role.
Familiarity with property or CRM software and data visualisation tools.
