**REPORTS TO:** Vice President, Vendor Management
**ABOUT THE ROLE:**
**Position Overview**
The Director of Dubbing Procurement will own the assignment strategy for global dubbing services, encompassing strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, cost management, and supplier performance management. This role is accountable for building a scalable, compliant, and cost\-effective dubbing supply base that supports global content operations while meeting customer needs, quality expectations, and delivering against financial targets. The position serves as the primary procurement authority for the dubbing category, overseeing global dubbing procurement teams, and partnering closely with Production, Finance, and Legal leadership to optimise sourcing activities.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
*Category Strategy \& Strategic Sourcing*
* Own the global dubbing procurement category strategy, including multi\-year sourcing roadmaps to deliver against margin improvement goals. * Define and lead vendor segmentation strategies (strategic, preferred, tactical) to balance cost, quality, and capacity. * Own dubbing commercial governance processes and reporting to demonstrate delivery against procurement strategies and targets. * Analyse spend, demand patterns, and market conditions to inform sourcing decisions. * Oversee competitive sourcing activities (e.g. RFPs, RFQs) across regions and languages. * Continuously assess market trends, labour costs, currency impacts, and regional risk; present remediation plans to business stakeholders to mitigate the service and commercial e exposure.
*Work Assignment \& Commercial Management*
* Own the dubbing work assignment strategy and execution, balancing customer, commercial and quality needs. * Own commercial governance to ensure that pricing and cost management processes support improvements to commercial performance. * Ensure vendor quoting process is clear and transparent to maximise value; coach the wider Vendor Management team in procurement best practices. * Oversee vendor performance feedback processes on pricing and quality to support competitive quoting and reduce waste caused by performance issues. * Work with commercial leads to manage impact of market forces (e.g. FX rates), local labour dynamics, and customer feedback to optimise allocation and pricing negotiation.
*Leadership \& Stakeholder Management*
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on dubbing market trends, risks, and opportunities. * Mentor team members on best practices to support continual growth and high performance. * Represent procurement in cross\-functional initiatives and executive reviews.
*Systems \& Tools*
* Own the procurement toolset and recommend developments which support improved oversight, simplified processes and commercial tracking; work with technical and product teams to define requirements and lead implementation.
*Business Partnership*
* Act as the procurement lead and escalation point for all dubbing cost\-related decisions. Collaborate with global leadership and regional heads to support growth and profitability for dubbing services. * Partner with Production and Client teams to align sourcing strategy with capacity and demand forecasts.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
*Required*
* 10\+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, preferably within media localisation, dubbing, or post\-production. * Deep understanding of global dubbing workflows, languages, and regional market dynamics. * Demonstrable experience delivering against commercial targets across large vendor portfolios, and negotiating complex vendor agreements. * Strong analytical, financial, and contract management skills. * Strong people management or team leadership experience in a global setting. * Excellent stakeholder management and cross\-functional communication skills. * Skilled at data processing and managing large datasets.
*Preferred*
* Experience supporting global streaming platforms, studios, or large\-scale content operations. * Familiarity with localization tools, dubbing pipelines, and media asset workflows. * Experience managing procurement across multiple regions (EMEA, APAC, LATAM, etc.). * Experience operating in a global matrix organisation structure.

Location: London preferred, but open to candidates in Los Angeles, CA. The base pay range for this role is $128,000\.00 \- $160,000\.00 annually. Actual amounts will vary depending on education, skills, experience, and geographic location.
