Job Description and Duties
Under the direction of the Arbitration Certification Program Chief, the Program Manager will manage a team of analytical staff. The Program Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of and providing supervision, technical expertise, onboarding and ongoing training, guidance, assistance, and support to analytical staff in the Arbitration Certification Program, including recommending policy changes to program operations, and ensuring the implementation of regulations.

Working Conditions

The California Department of Consumer Affairs' Arbitration Certification Program (ACP) certifies and monitors third\-party arbitration programs of participating automobile manufacturers to ensure compliance with California laws and regulations governing resolution of warranty disputes involving vehicles purchased with the manufacturer's new\-car warranty. The ACP also ensures that certified programs conduct dispute resolution in a fair and expeditious manner.
