**What you will do**
As project officer, you will help deliver technology projects that support the department's work.
You will support project delivery from planning through to completion while keeping work on track.
You will:
* prepare **clear** project plans, reports, briefings and financial documents * coordinate **reliable** ICT equipment, technology services and project support activities * organise **effective** project meetings, keep records and follow up agreed actions * monitor **accurate** project schedules, risks, issues and progress reports * research project matters, provide **practical** advice and help improve project processes.
**About you**
Relevant project management and/or ICT technical qualifications are desirable. You should also have knowledge of project management, purchasing, financial reporting, project software and workplace ICT services.
You should also have:
* **strong** project management and ICT knowledge * **good** problem\-solving skills and sound judgement * **clear** communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships * **confidence** using digital tools while supporting an **inclusive** workplace.
