Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail\-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the company's accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Tally, account reconciliation, GST compliance, and taxation. Prior experience in the interior fit\-out, construction, or project\-based industry will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day\-to\-day accounting activities using **Tally ERP/Tally Prime**. * Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and financial records. * Perform **bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations** on a regular basis. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports. * Ensure timely **GST return filing**, reconciliation, and compliance with statutory regulations. * Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities during audits and assessments. * Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable and ensure timely collections and payments. * Verify purchase invoices, subcontractor bills, and expense claims. * Handle TDS deductions, return filing, and statutory compliance. * Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules. * Assist management with budgeting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis. * Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company accounting policies.
Required Skills
* Strong working knowledge of **Tally ERP/Tally Prime**. * Excellent understanding of **Account Reconciliation**, GST, TDS, and accounting standards. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office. * Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent. * M.Com or CA Inter will be an added advantage. * **3\-5 years of accounting experience**, preferably in the **Interior, Construction, or Turnkey Projects** industry.
Preferred Candidate Profile
* Experience in project accounting and contractor billing. * Familiarity with work orders, purchase orders, and project cost tracking. * Ability to manage multiple projects and statutory compliances simultaneously. * Strong attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills.
