We are seeking a skilled Programmer who is passionate about building high-performing, user-friendly, and secure web applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Desqoo website, implementing new features, optimizing performance, integrating third-party services, and ensuring an exceptional user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the Desqoo website and web applications.
- Design, code, test, and deploy scalable and secure web solutions.
- Collaborate with the design, marketing, and business teams to implement new features and improvements.
- Optimise website performance, speed, and responsiveness across all devices.
- Integrate APIs, payment gateways, CRM systems, and other third-party services as required.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve bugs efficiently.
- Ensure website security, data protection, and regular system updates.
- Manage website hosting, deployments, backups, and version control.
- Monitor website performance using analytics and recommend continuous improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow coding best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6+ years of experience in web development or software programming.
- Strong portfolio showcasing websites or web applications you have developed.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Experience with back-end technologies such as PHP, Node.js, Python, or Laravel.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
- Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of responsive design, SEO best practices, and website optimisation.
- Knowledge of cloud hosting platforms and deployment processes is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Shopify, or Magento.
- Knowledge of CMS platforms, including WordPress.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Experience integrating ERP, CRM, or inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with AI tools, automation, or modern web technologies is a plus.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
