Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to ensure the quality of bags throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing quality standards, conducting inspections, identifying defects, and driving continuous improvement to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor product quality during incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
- Ensure bags meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports and documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, R&D, and Stores to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor supplier quality and incoming raw material inspections.
- Ensure compliance with ISO and company quality standards.
- Conduct quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train production staff on quality procedures and best practices.
- Reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints through process improvements.
Requirements:
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in bag, luggage, textile, or manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of quality tools, inspection techniques, and ISO standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation.
