About us:
DICEUS is a product company focused on building innovative SaaS solutions for the global insurance and financial services markets. Our mission is to modernize how insurers, brokers, MGAs, and other financial players operate through intelligent underwriting, seamless policy management, and digital engagement platforms. Since 2011, we have accomplished more than 150 projects, helping SMBs and enterprises overcome business challenges with the right technology solutions.
About the Role
We are looking for a new-generation Product Designer who combines strong UX/product thinking with AI-assisted prototyping and low-code development.
This is not a traditional UI/UX design role focused on manually creating individual screens in Figma.
We need someone who can take a business problem or a set of requirements, understand the underlying workflow, design the product experience, and rapidly turn it into a high-quality interactive or functional solution using modern AI and low-code tools.
The primary domain is B2B insurance software: policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, captive insurance, and other insurance operations.
In your application, we kindly request that you provide us with:
- Your salary expectations in USD gross
- Location
- English level
Your Mission
Dramatically shorten the distance from idea to validated solution, moving far faster than the classic “requirements wireframes manual Figma screens developer handoff” process.
Responsibilities
Requirements & Product Discovery
- Participate in client discovery calls, asking meaningful product and UX questions
- Understand business workflows, not just follow written requirements
- Conduct and structure user interviews
- Identify missing requirements, edge cases, and inconsistencies
- Translate requirements into user journeys, flows, and prototypes
- Challenge requirements when a better UX or product solution exists
- Work independently from relatively high-level requirements
AI-First Product Design
- Use AI tools (Lovable, Figma Make, Claude, and similar) to generate complete product areas, workflows, and prototypes — rather than designing every screen manually
- Iterate through prompts, specifications, screenshots, existing applications, and design systems to reach production-quality results
Functional Prototyping & Low-Code Development
- Build functional end-to-end prototypes and MVP-level applications: authentication, forms and workflows, dashboards, CRUD operations, role-based experiences, search and filtering, document workflows
- Experience connecting prototypes to Supabase, PostgreSQL, APIs, auth services, storage, and serverless backends is highly desirable
Claude & AI Workflow Skills
- Requirements analysis, prompt engineering, generation and review of product specifications
- UX analysis, creation of test scenarios and checklists
- AI-assisted product audits, analysis of screenshots and application flows
- Working with MCP-connected tools and external data sources
Validation & Testing
- Usability testing, functional testing of prototypes, edge-case and consistency checks
- Validation against specifications and acceptance criteria
- Experience with Playwright or similar browser automation tools is a strong advantage
Client Communication
- Participate in client calls, present prototypes and product concepts
- Explain design decisions, run product demos, collect feedback
- Strong English is required
Requirements
- Strong understanding of information architecture, complex workflows, navigation, usability, and data-heavy interfaces (forms, dashboards, tables)
- Understanding of relevant UX/product metrics and ability to evaluate whether users can successfully complete their tasks
- Experience with structured UX reviews and usability testing, not just visual judgment
- Strong hands-on experience with AI-assisted design/prototyping tools (Figma, Figma Make, Lovable, Claude, or similar)
- Insurance domain experience is a plus but not required, if you can demonstrate the ability to quickly understand complex business domains
Personal Qualities
- Extremely proactive, fast, and execution-oriented
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Curious about new AI tools and able to learn them independently
- Comfortable experimenting and discarding unsuccessful approaches
- Capable of owning a problem rather than waiting for detailed instructions
A typical task for this role: “Here is the business process, existing application, and high-level requirements. Propose and build the best solution.”
Ideal Background The ideal candidate likely started as a Product Designer or Senior UX/UI Designer and has evolved toward AI-assisted product creation: a Product Designer with strong business analysis skills, a UX/Product Designer with low-code experience, an AI Product Designer, or a Product Prototyper/Builder.
Key Hiring Principle We care less about how polished a candidate’s static portfolio is, and more about whether they can take an unfamiliar business problem and rapidly turn it into a coherent, usable, functional product solution:
Business Problem Requirements User Flow Product Solution Functional Prototype Validation Client Presentation
— with significantly less dependency on separate analysts, designers, and developers than a traditional Product Designer role.
