Role summary
Own end-to-end feature delivery across backend services (Java/Node.js/Javascript) and a
modern React UI. You’ll define API contracts and data models, harden reliability, and mentor
teammates while partnering closely with Product and Design.

What you’ll do

Design and build scalable services in Java (SpringBoot) and Node.js/TypeScript with clean REST APIs.

Lead frontend implementation in React (hooks, routing, state management such as Zustand).

Shape data models for relational DBs (Postgres/MySQL), including indexing, migrations, and query tuning.

Establish service patterns: auth (OAuth/JWT), idempotency, retries/backoff, observability, and cost/perf guardrails.

Raise engineering quality: testing strategies (unit/integration/e2e), CI/CD, code reviews, documentation.

Collaborate on product discovery; translate user needs into pragmatic technical designs.
What you’ve done

5+ years building production systems across Java and JavaScript/TypeScript.

Delivered API-driven features end-to-end (contract design, versioning, pagination, error models).
-
Strong SQL fundamentals (joins, transactions, normalization) and practical ORM experience.

Solid React fundamentals and API-driven UI development.
Nice to have
-
AI features in production (LLM tool use, RAG/embeddings, evaluations/guardrails).

Working knowledge of telephony/voice (Twilio, SIP/WebRTC concepts).
