Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern who is eager to learn search engine optimization and digital marketing. The intern will assist in improving our website's organic visibility, conducting keyword research, optimizing content, and monitoring SEO performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research for healthcare and medical topics.
- Optimize website pages, blogs, and landing pages for search engines.
- Assist with on-page SEO, including meta titles, descriptions, headings, and internal linking.
- Perform basic technical SEO audits and identify improvement opportunities.
- Monitor website performance using tools such as Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Research competitors and identify SEO opportunities.
- Support content writers with SEO best practices.
- Track keyword rankings and prepare weekly/monthly SEO reports.
- Help build and maintain high-quality backlinks through ethical SEO practices.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and search engine algorithm changes.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and digital marketing.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or similar tools is a plus.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Mass Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
- SEO certification or completion of relevant online courses is an advantage.
- Interest in healthcare, wellness, or medical content is preferred.
