Job Summary
MSJ Building and Project Solutions Ltd is seeking a Director of Construction Projects to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of construction and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for an experienced construction executive with expertise in project leadership, commercial management, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Lead the delivery of multiple construction and building projects from planning through completion.
- Develop project strategies, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Oversee project managers, site teams, contractors, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building standards, and contractual requirements.
- Monitor project performance, costs, risks, quality, and programme milestones.
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, local authorities, and senior stakeholders.
- Prepare executive reports, forecasts, commercial updates, and strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- Experience in construction project management, infrastructure delivery, building operations, or civil engineering projects.
- Previous senior leadership experience within the construction or infrastructure sector preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, contract management, budgeting, procurement, risk management, and health and safety compliance.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, commercial, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage large-scale projects, multidisciplinary teams, budgets, and multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, construction management software, and project reporting platforms.

Pay: £72,000.00-£120,000.00 per year
