Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dispatch Manager to oversee the coordination and management of transportation operations within our logistics and supply chain network. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely dispatch of freight, managing communication with carriers and clients, and optimizing routing efficiency. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with various transportation management systems to support seamless shipping and receiving processes.
Duties
- Oversee daily dispatch operations, ensuring freight is scheduled and routed efficiently.
- Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and warehouse staff to facilitate smooth shipping & receiving activities.
- Manage data entry related to shipments, freight details, and delivery schedules with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and increased efficiency within the supply chain.
- Monitor shipment statuses, troubleshoot issues promptly, and communicate updates effectively across all stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during dispatch operations.
- Maintain accurate records of freight movements, shipping documentation, and related data for reporting purposes.
- Experience is not necessary, full paid training is provided however must excel at communication and customer service.
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
