**Responsibilities Include:**
* Ensure firewall configurations, network (WAN, LAN, WLAN), and devices are secure, hardened, and aligned with corporate security requirements. * Monitor, investigate, and report on security incidents, breaches, vulnerabilities, and unusual network or system behavior. * Conduct internal and external risk assessments, control analysis, and vulnerability scans; take ownership of remediation. * Manage user access, audit permissions, enforce least privilege policies, and recommend proactive mitigation measures. * Develop proposals, recommendations, and security documentation; create reports and alerts for executives and teams. * Monitor public, private, and classified sources for emerging threats; respond to escalated security issues. * Partner with vendors to maintain and troubleshoot physical security systems, including NVRs, IP cameras, and badge readers, to ensure facility protection and support investigations. * Support and contribute to the organization’s overall security posture and perform other duties as assigned.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* 3\+ years of IT security experience * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to communicate highly technical information to non\-technical audiences at all levels of the organization * Will need strong organizational skills * Must be able to work independently and in a team environment * Experience collecting and analyzing events and creating relevant reports * Ability to be able to brief and effectively communicate in a concise, effective, and persuasive manner. * Needs to have strong problem\-solving skills * Familiarity with LogRhythm and other sys\-loggers * Understanding of securing cloud computing
